Description: World Environment Day was observed on 5 June by the students of Classes VI to XII with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of environmental responsibility. The day began with a morning awareness assembly, where students reflected on the importance of protecting and preserving our environment, followed by an environmental pledge. To deepen their understanding, students attended an informative PowerPoint presentation in their respective classrooms. This was followed by a cleanliness drive, encouraging students to take responsibility for maintaining clean and healthy surroundings. The celebrations concluded with a plantation drive, where students actively participated in planting saplings and nurturing a greener future. The activities sensitised students to the importance of environmental conservation and inspired them to adopt responsible practices in their daily lives. The celebration reinforced the message that every small step towards protecting nature can contribute to a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable planet.
