Description: Convent of Jesus and Mary, Shimla, under the able leadership of Principal Sr. Greta, organized a Dental and Eye Screening Camp for students from Nursery to Class XII on 15th July 2026. The initiative was conducted by the POCSO Team and Social Service Team in collaboration with a dedicated team of medical professionals from IGMC, Shimla. Children from Udaan also participated in the camp and made this venture more meaningful and they were given a token of love by the Chelsea family. The dental screening was conducted for students from Nursery to Class V, while eye screening was carried out for students of Classes VI to XII. The main objective of the camp was to detect dental and vision-related concerns at an early stage, create awareness about oral hygiene and eye care, and encourage healthy lifestyle practices among students. Speaking on the occasion, the school authorities stated that this initiative reflects the vision of the school’s beloved Foundress, St. Claudine Thévenet, who believed that every child deserves to be cared for with dignity, kindness, and hope. The school continues to uphold her mission of forming confident, healthy, and compassionate individuals. The school expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rahul Rao (MS, IGMC), Dr. Rangila Ram, Dr. Seema Thakur, Dr. Archana Sharma, Dr. Achika Rao, Dr. Priya, Dr. Vartika, Dr. Ishita, and Dr. Sumesh Sharma for their invaluable service, guidance, and commitment in making the camp a success.
