Description: Our school had the privilege of welcoming Sister Lucy on campus with a special assembly conducted by the students of Class VII. The programme was a beautiful expression of faith, gratitude, and the strong sense of community that defines our school. The assembly commenced with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the significance of the occasion. This was followed by the introduction of Sister Lucy by our respected Principal, Sister Greta, who highlighted Sister Lucy's inspiring journey of faith, dedication, and selfless service. Her words enabled the audience to appreciate the remarkable life and mission of our honoured guest. The gathering then joined in a solemn prayer, invoking God's blessings upon Sister Lucy and seeking His guidance for the entire school community. The prayer set a reverent and uplifting tone for the celebration. The programme continued with a graceful welcome dance and a melodious choir presentation that filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. Students of the Junior School then enthralled the audience with colourful cultural dances, celebrating the richness and diversity of our nation's heritage. One of the most touching moments of the assembly was the bouquet presentation. Student representatives from the Kindergarten, Junior, Middle, and Senior School came forward to present bouquets, symbolising the love, respect, and heartfelt gratitude of every section of the school. A beautifully crafted welcome card, carrying the good wishes of the entire school family, was also presented to Sister Lucy. Following the presentation, Sister Lucy addressed the gathering with words of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration. Her message emphasised the values of faith, compassion, humility, and service, leaving a profound impact on the students and staff alike. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the School Anthem, bringing the memorable celebration to a fitting close. To further honour our distinguished guest, a High Tea was hosted in the school library at 12:30 p.m. The gathering brought together the Management, Sisters, staff members, and invited guests in an atmosphere of warmth and fellowship. It provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction with Sister Lucy and made the occasion even more memorable. The visit of Sister Lucy was truly a blessing for the entire school community. Her gracious presence and inspiring words will continue to motivate us to live lives rooted in faith, guided by compassion, and dedicated to selfless service.
