Description: In a world that often celebrates speed and novelty, we pause to express our deepest gratitude for those who gave us roots: our senior citizens. Our elders are the living archives of our families, communities, and nation. They carried us through lean years with resilience, built institutions with patience, and taught us values through quiet example. Their thoughtfulness — seen in the small details they still notice, the advice they offer without being asked, and the traditions they preserve — continues . Listening with time, not just courtesy - Their stories are blueprints for navigating today’s challenges. Every memory shared is a lesson in dignity and survival. We honor their choices, celebrate their independence, and seek their counsel in decisions that shape all generations. As a Chelsea community, we invited elders from Help Age India to mentor and share their opinion on connecting with the new generation. They were invited as special guests to witness Junior School Inter Section Dance Competition which not only brought smiles on their faces but gave them a chance to feel valued and relive their young days. They were greeted with cards and Felicitated by the school Principal Sr. Greta .This togetherness also sensitised the children and reminded them of the real treasure that lies in the experience of our adult citizens.
