Description: A Grace-Filled Beginning to the New Academic Year On Saturday, 11 April 2026, our school community gathered with joy and reverence to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit, invoking God’s blessings on the new academic year. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was led by Reverend Father Lancy Paul, priest-in-charge at St. Padre Pio Church, Naya Gaon. In his homily, Father Lancy Paul urged students to remember that whenever they are in need, they should turn to God for help and trust in His providence. He reminded each one that they are uniquely created by God, with individual gifts and a special purpose. He encouraged all to let the Holy Spirit be their guide, so they may learn with enthusiasm, act with kindness, and live with integrity. The Offertory procession beautifully reflected our prayers. Symbols of light, growth, knowledge, endurance, unity, peace, and nourishment were offered — a candle, a potted plant, books, sports emblems, a globe, a dove, and bread and wine. Each offering was accompanied by heartfelt prayers, calling us to root ourselves in truth, strive with discipline, and be witnesses of love and service. The Mass was made deeply prayerful through the devotion of our students who led the readings and intercessions, and the choir whose hymns lifted every heart. Behind the scenes, our teachers, non-teaching staff, and helpers worked tirelessly to ensure the celebration flowed with grace and dignity. The event was held under the able guidance of our respected Principal, Sister Greta, whose vision and care continue to shape the moral and academic fabric of our school. A heartfelt Vote of Thanks was delivered on behalf of the entire school community, expressing gratitude to Father Lancy Paul, Sister Greta, the staff, students, and all who contributed to the day. As we step into this academic year, we carry the message of the Mass in our hearts: to seek God’s help in every need, to value the uniqueness God has given each of us, and to let the Holy Spirit enlighten our minds, strengthen our hearts, and guide every endeavour. “Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” – St. Augustine
