Description: Rekindled: The Journey Within CJM Chelsea’s Annual Day Blends Faith, Talent, and Inspiration Bishop of Chandigarh and Shimla Diocese, Graces the Celebration at Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea Shimla, 3rd October 2025: The majestic auditorium of Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea came alive with music, colours, and emotions as the school celebrated its Annual Day with grandeur, grace, and gratitude. The presence of His Lordship, the Bishop of Chandigarh, Shimla Diocese Rev. Msgr. Sahaya Thathues Thomas , as the Chief Guest, elevated the evening into a truly memorable occasion. From the very entrance, the air was filled with joy as the live singing choir and a Hindi prayer dance welcomed the gathering with devotion and artistry. A prayer dance by and a heartfelt invocation followed, creating an atmosphere of reverence and unity. The Chief Guest was warmly received with a bouquet and card, symbolising the school’s deep respect and affection. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp that followed was a radiant moment, marking the triumph of light over darkness. In her Annual Report presentation, Principal, Sr. Greta brought to life the school’s journey over the past year—its academic triumphs, cultural vibrancy, sports victories, and community service initiatives. Principal Sr. Greta expressed her pride and gratitude: “Our children are our greatest testimony to what faith and guidance can achieve. Tonight, they have shown us not only their talent but their depth of thought and character.” In his address, His Lordship, the Bishop of Chandigarh, Shimla Diocese Rev. Msgr. Sahaya Thathues Thomas  lauded the students’ performances and values, saying, “Chelsea is not just imparting education; it is shaping hearts. The harmony of faith, creativity, and compassion here is truly remarkable.” The evening also honoured academic excellence and co-curricular achievements through the scholarship and prize distribution. The event concluded with a warm felicitation and a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, by Head Girl Arshita Sawant leaving the audience with a deep sense of pride and belonging. As the curtains fell, the Annual Day at Chelsea stood as a shining reminder of the school’s mission—to nurture young minds and hearts that are prepared to serve, to lead, and to love.
