Description: On 15th October, school celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the beloved patron saint of peace, compassion, and universal brotherhood, with great devotion and joy during a special assembly. The day began with a serene and soulful prayer, invoking God’s blessings and seeking the intercession of St. Francis to help everyone follow the path of love, humility, and service. To deepen the understanding of St. Francis’s message, a video presentation was shown, highlighting his life of simplicity, his love for nature, and his selfless service to humanity. The video inspired students to imbibe his values of kindness and gratitude in their own lives. This was followed by a thought-provoking play that beautifully depicted the teachings of St. Francis through an engaging storyline. The play emphasized how his timeless message continues to hold relevance in today’s world. Adding color and vibrancy to the celebration were graceful dance performances, symbolizing joy, harmony, and the beauty of creation that St. Francis so dearly cherished. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, teachers, and all participants for their dedicated efforts in making the celebration meaningful and memorable. The assembly left everyone inspired to walk in the footsteps of St. Francis — spreading love, peace, and goodness wherever they go.
