Description: “Cyber safety is not just about technology, it is about awareness, responsibility, and making wise choices in the digital world.” On Saturday, 30th August, a seminar on Cyber Safety was conducted exclusively for teachers with the objective of creating greater awareness about the responsible and secure use of the internet. The session was highly informative and interactive, addressing the growing concerns and challenges faced in the digital age, especially in the field of education. The seminar was led by two eminent resource persons, Mr. Nikhil Sharma and Ms. Arvind Kaur, who shared their expertise on topics such as safe online practices, protection of personal information, recognizing cyber threats, and guiding students to be responsible digital citizens. They emphasized the importance of teachers being well-equipped to handle issues like cyberbullying, online scams, and digital distractions among students. The session provided practical tips and real-life examples, making it relevant and engaging for the teaching community. Teachers gained valuable insights into safeguarding not only their own digital presence but also into mentoring students on navigating the virtual world wisely and securely.
