Description: “There are some goodbyes that are too heavy for words, for they mark the end of an era-and the farewell of sister Geetha was one such moment.” On the morning of 20th June 2025, C.J.M Shimla witnessed a momentous occasion the farewell ceremony of Sr. Geetha, a pillar of strength, grace and guidance. The day began with a grand and affectionate welcome as Sister Geetha made her way into the school auditorium with shower of flowers and camera flashes. The programme opened with a prayer service and soulful choir, all aimed at seeking blessing for Sister Geetha’s future journey, followed by a dance performance symbolizing grace and devotion One of the most touching parts of the event was a power point presentation thoroughly curated with photographs of Sister Geetha, alongside teachers and students over the year. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for Sister Geetha’s farewell address with gentle wisdom and calm grace, she shared reflection on her time at C.J.M, expressed her sincere thanks to all who stood by her, and encouraged the students. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks on behalf of the entire C.J.M family. The farewell was not just a goodbye- it was a celebration of a life lived in service. While Sister Greta moves ahead on a new path, her values, memories and legacy will forever remain etched in the spirit of C.J.M.
