Description: There was a meeting held on 17thMarch, 2025 in which all the staff members were present, the POCSO committee members discussed about the responsibilities and duties of the teachers towards the children in the School. In the meeting corporal punishment related to physical abuse, mental harassment, discrimination, neglect, emotional abuse ,sexual abuse and important guidelines as per POCSO Act were discussed. Whom to contact, if few signs and symptoms to be observed in a child, suffering from CSA were also discussed .Further the consequences of corporal punishment on child as well as teacher on legal basis were discussed and office order was read carefully and then signed by the staff members . The teachers were asked to observe the behavior of the children in the classes carefully and send them for the counselling if required. Furthermore, a separate session was conducted for the non-teaching staff and workers, where they were clearly informed that any form of inappropriate behavior with children, including bad touch, abuse, staring inappropriately, or any form of misconduct or misbehavior, is strictly prohibited under the POCSO Act and would lead to strict legal action.
