Description: On 11th April 2025, Himachal Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by our kindergarten students. On this special occasion, our tiny tots presented a heart-stirring, culturally rich program filled with pride and a deep sense of connection to our heritage. The event began with a warm welcome that highlighted the historical importance of Himachal Day. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Sr. Greta, who joined as the Chief Guest and Sr. Geetha. Their graceful presence added charm and inspiration to the occasion. The program commenced with a spectacular dance performance by the Nursery students, showcasing traditional Himachali folk dances—Nati—which brought the festive spirit to life and captivated everyone with their vibrant moves. Next, the stage turned into a colorful display of grace and tradition as students participated in a modelling show, walking the ramp in traditional Himachali attire. The elegant costumes representing various districts like Kinnaur, Chamba, and Lahaul-Spiti reflected the cultural diversity of our beautiful state. To further deepen the cultural connection, K.G class students presented a soulful rendition of the folk song “Laga Dholo ra Dhamaka.” Their harmonious performance set the perfect tone for the day and stirred a sense of pride among the audience. This was followed by a presentation of Himachal’s state symbols – such as the Snow Leopard (State Animal), Western Tragopan (State Bird), Deodar (State Tree), and Pink Rhododendron (State Flower). This event not only celebrated our natural heritage but also educated the audience about the unique identity of Himachal Pradesh. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to all the participants, sisters, and teachers—especially our Chief Guests Sr. Greta and Sr. Geetha whose presence made the celebration even more memorable and meaningful.
